The fill tube is only about 1 inch around, and is at the back of the engine right at the firewall just to the left of the middle of the engine. Look a little to the left of the back of the air cleaner cover.
You need to have the truck running and in park with the parking brake engaged. Add a little then check it to see if it's full yet. Be patient, it can take a long time and a lot of fluid if it is very low.
It is in the bottom of the transmission. You will have to remove transmission pan and you will see it.
