Assuming you mean to find the ip address of a server running one or more domains (such as somedomain) there are a few options, depending on your OS;
- Windows: use the command prompt (choose start, Run, type 'cmd', enter) and type 'ping somedomain'. This will resolve the domain to an ip and start pinging. Also the 'tracert' command might be useful to further investigate the routing paths to the server.
- Linux: use the 'dig' command from the commandline. 'dig somedomain'. Beware that more info is displayed such as dns servers and more than just the 'A record' you might be looking for.
