Pull the ashtray out utill stop. Push the heat shield downward and give a little more pull, the ashtray will pull away from the housing. With flash light look up at the ashtray housing, you should be able to locate 2 Philips screws. Undo these screws and the whole housing will drop, the light bulb bracket located between these two screw holes. Twist the bulb housing, pull the bulb. It takes #74 wedge bulb. Good luck, Jo

The instrument cluster must be removed to replace the light bulbs on it.
You have to remove the instrument cluster to get access to the bulbs.

This is usually cause by a stuck brake light switch on the brake pedal. Replace it.
Just unscrew the rear brake light, turn out the socket, and replace the bulb.

1. Remove ashtray. 2. Remove ashtray track assembly (two screws underneath). 3. Replace bulb. 4. Install ashtray track assembly. 5. Insert ashtray.
