You have to press certain buttons on the menu screen. (The place that shows your file and asks if you want continue.) Unfortunately I can't remember which to push. But, you can see
see what it is by clicking on "new game" and pressing save when you get the chance and it will tell you which buttons to push to delete your save file that you already have.
