Once a heater core starts to leak, the only remedy is to replace it.
Luckily it appears to be a pretty straight-forward job on the Windstar - the heater core is at the bottom of the center of the dashboard - remove the ductwork and some of the trim pieces to expose the heater core compartment.
Of course, this is after draining the engine coolant and disconnecting the heater hoses in the engine compartment.

Heater core is on the passenger side behind the glove box, this is also the location of the air conditioner evaporator core.. they should be in the same housing.

You can find the heater core behind the kick plate in your 1993 Acura Legend. Remove the water hoses. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.

You would have to find the inlet and outlet hoses and put a fitting between them and hose clamp them together.
