You can try taking it to a spelialist in antiques (maybe like an antigues shop?) or to an autcion to assess it for you and give you a rough estimate of price.
Highly unlikely.
An ice cream maker is commonly called an ice cream freezer. The crank ones require salt and constant cranking to maintain the temperature, so they would not be practical for this use. There are electric ones that have their own compressors, taking the mix to frozen in about 30 minutes, which look like they cost about $1200. They hold 4 quarts. Yes. They make great freezers. I have one myself and I love it. My daughter can stand in front of it all day and look all she wants because it has 2 glass doors. I'm sure the answer above refers to an ice cream maker, not a freezer. There is not a definitive value for antique red glass. There are not only differing prices for when the glass was created, but what shade of red they are, such as ruby or cranberry.

One may buy antique absinthe glass from the site "Absinthe Originals". They do carry original antiques pieces and have a great variety to choose from.
Because the glass gets cold and to form the figure it was in it had to expand with heat therefore putting a glass in an extremely cold enviornment like the freezer the glass particles get compact (really tight) and shatters.
The sequel to the book is called Glass. The sequel to the book is called Glass.
Plastic shelving would be better in a freezer than glass because the extreme cold would make the glass more brittle and thus more likely to break.
