Pull the #1 spark plug out
Bump the motor over until you feel compression
then take a piece of wire (metal our solid 12ga hard wire)
stick it in the spark plug hole and turn the motor over by hand
the wire will start to move out of the hole keep moving
until the wire start to go back down STOP because that's TDC
top dead center
