Try using a hair dryer or a fan directed at the wet spot. The air will penetrate the floor and dry it out
no, but if its under the floor it may put a hole in it, we once had a truck with a hole in the floor and the floor mat caught fire! If the leak is large enough it can damage the exhast valves.
IT IS LOCATED ON THE PASSANGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE, WHEN THEY DO LEAK THEY TYPICALLY LEAK INSIDE THE VEHICLE.
If it is antifreeze then yes. If it is water then there's a leak in the fire wall under the windshield or wiper arms. Real hard to find.
It's unlikely (but not impossible) that it's the floor leaking. It's more probable that there's a leak eitherin the heater core, or in the ventilation air intake plenum.
The leak detection pump is next to the steering gear, under the van, below the driver side floor board.
Leak on drain line above floor level
Typically that leak is caused by a leak in the heating system. The heater core is under the dashboard, just above the passenger side.
not any oil in your heater core although the heater core uses coolant coming from and returning to the engine so when damaged or being worked on coolant can leak under the dash and into the floor
Water seeping up through the grout in between tiles on a tiled floor can be caused by several factors, including: Cracked Grout: If the grout between the tiles is cracked, water can seep through the cracks and reach the subfloor. Loose or Damaged Tiles: Tiles that are loose or damaged can allow water to seep through the gaps and reach the subfloor. Poorly Installed Tiles: If tiles were not installed correctly, with inadequate adhesive or a poorly leveled surface, water can seep through the gaps and reach the subfloor. High Water Table: If the area where the tiled floor is installed has a high water table, water can seep up through the grout. Plumbing Issues: A leak in the plumbing system, such as a damaged pipe or loose fitting, can cause water to seep up through the grout. Flooding: If the area where the tiled floor is installed experiences flooding, water can seep up through the grout and reach the subfloor.
The current oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is from an oil well under 5,000 of water.
It depends on the language of your policy. If you have an HO-3 policy the leak should be covered under the policy. Some policies exclude water damage so you should have your agent review your policy for you before calling your insurance company.
