where is the speadometeter cable on an x reg corsa
speedo connected to gearbox and connected to other end not brken but not working
best to take it to a professional mate, or it may pay you to try and tighten the one you already have first before getting a new one fitted.
You can it 7x17" alloy wheels on a 1999 Vauxhall Corsa. Just make sure they do not rub on the wheel arches. If you want to be 100% sure about it, then go for 7x16" alloy wheels.
Corsa's have several different makes of headlamps fitted. The instructions vary according to the make. Go to you local Vauxhall dealer, buy the bulb from them, and if they are any good they will fit it for free. (I do!) "Financial remuneration" (A "tip") is appreciated, but not mandatory!
I doubt that you would manage to fit a V6 engine in a Corsa without cutting more than the rear bumper.
The speedometer cable (which runs from the transmission to the dashboard) has snapped. This is a two-piece cable, and the one-piece cable in later Proteges will not work. I had the transmission replaced, and the cable could never be fit in properly. This is a mechanical speedometer, so you would have to change the entire speedometer part of the instrument panel to use a magnetic/electronic speedometer.
Yes, aslong as theyre 18 7.5 or lower.... 7.5 being the thickness of them from front to back ;)
It will be in the air duct between the air filter and the engine inlet.Probably a push fit into a rubbery boss. One wiring plug on it.
NO! 17 wheels do NOT fit a corsa
Yes, but you will need the complete wiring harness and E.C.U (from the doner car)for an easier swap.
you may need 2 modify the engine mounts, aside from that just make sure it fits
no reason why it shouldn't as long as its a SRI corsa (i think they made an SRI astra but not sure on that) so yea theoretically it should be the same coz vauxhall saved money by creating similar engines and gearbox's so they should be interchangable so basically YES it will fit
