most likely spark plug wires. spray wires with water and see if misfire gets worse.
I have a 2001 Prism, and all i did was replace the spark plugs, and reset the battery it went away....
Some more info would be good. 1. How many miles? 2. How are you reading code? 3. How did the Coil look when you changed plugs( very common problem) From what you said i can assume the next place I would go is the coil.
On a 2002 Ford Ranger , 2.3 liter DOHC , four cylinder engine : The 3rd engine cylinder is the 3rd cylinder from the FRONT of the vehicle firewall 4 3 2 1 front of vehicle ---------------------------------- The towers on the coil pack are numbered : 4 - 2 1 - 3 coil pack plug ( there should be a label on top of the coil pack )
that would most likely indicate that your 3rd cylinder is not firing correctly or firein late A.E. "missfire" i would first check your spark plugs, to see if their good, and if they are i would check your timing
Cylinder #3 is the 3rd one starting from belts side. #1 is closest to the belts, #4 is furthest away from belts
for the 2003 2.3 ford is located between the 2nd and 3rd spark plug wire
No they will not directly interchange. Hyundai did not start using it's engines into the Kia Rio until late 2005 at the launch of the 3rd Gen Rio. The 1st (2001-2002) and 2nd (2003-2005) Kia Rio's use a variation of the Mazda B6 engine.
#5 cylinder on a Chevy 350Its the 3rd cylinder back on the drivers side of the engine
(looking at the engine) Left bank, 3rd cylinder back.
