behind drivers head rest in pillar there is a latch or use a card and swipe it open if latch is broken
Need more information. Is the latch behind the grill broken? Or is it the latch operated from inside the vehicle? If it's the latter you can remove the latch mechanism and pull on the cable using pliers or vise grips.
Probably inside the door latch mechanism
Happened to me a few months ago. Remove the inside rear panel and pull the latch manually. Then you can unscrew the broken latch and replace it.
If it is just the inside handle broken off you can pull the cable with a pair of pliers. If it is in the middle, you should be able to reach up from underneath and cut the cable and then pull the inside cable. If the latch end has pulled off, you may be able to trip the latch from underneath, or take the grill out and unbolt the latch.
The best way to to try to find the cable and cut it and pull with pliers to open if the inside latch is broken. If not then you would have to go in from underneath or through the grill.
The cable between the latch and the handle may be broken or needs adjustement to shorten the cable so that the latch will fully release.
Sounds like the latch on the inside of the door is broke.
go through the grill and use a heavy duty screwdriver to pry back the latch
