When I dislocated my wrist at 13 I had to get surgery to pop it back Into place.. If it is a minor case a cast will be put on the wrist. The general option is to have a cast put in
place at an ortho place... Or the second option is closed surgery with a mallet.. If very bad open wrist to. Align the ligmates of the wrist them of course physical therapy.
if you have a wrist that hurts then you should put ice on it and relax. Make sure you have your wrist above your heart so the blood flows smoothly. if you can go to the doctor, go. Do not put pressure on it for at least 40-48 hours. Wait at least a day before you go to the doctors, unless you know that it is really severe but go to the hospital. i went through this and it really hurt i did all these things but eventually i had to get a cast. hope all these things helped. byeee thxx
Either go to your GP or go to A and E, I dislocated my jaw and my GP put it back in for me there and then because he was trained in this area The most important thing is that you have to relax your jaw and mouth muscles as much as possible.
If it doesn't hurt that much, here's what you do:
1. Place it on top of a hard piece of wood/plastic.
2. Secure it on your wrist by wrapping them together with a stretchy bandage
3. If you can't bend your wrist with the splint on, it's perfect.
4. Wear it for 1-4 weeks
For a subsitute, you can wear a wrist brace that you can buy at a drug store.
If the wrist hurts alot, go to a doctor/ER.
The diagnosis of a fracture is by xray, typically. If there is a fracture present, the decision must be made whether the fracture needs to be reduced, or "set," and then to splint or cast the fracture. Appropriate follow up with an orthopedic specialist is then indicated to follow the fracture out to healing.
Apply ice 15 minutes out of every hours, and gently stretch the effected area. You should be good as new in about 3-4 days.
You go to the doctor, he drugs you up, then he pops it back in place.
What you should do is rub with heat and rub after a couple of days and give it lots and lots of rest.
-hope this helps :)
If not notify a doctor immediately.
Go to your doctor, get it treated and then limit its use while it repairs
No it is not
Firstly, a doctor will have to reposition the jaw into place by using his/her thumbs. In few situations, surgery would then be proformed on the dislocated jaw and the jaw would have to be secured shut for a minimum of six weeks. In other cases surgery would not take place, although the dislocated jaw would still need to be bandaged.
The lower jaw (mandible) may be dislocated by force.
It's a disease called TMJ see your orthodontist about it as it can result in a dislocated Jaw
I bit into an apple and dislocated the left jaw. It went back into place but not pops when i eat. How long will it take to heal so i can eat normally again.
Yes, the jaw can be dislocated, usually as a result of trauma.
Dislocation of the jaw can be treated by a primary care physician by exerting pressure in the proper manner.
yes
If muscle spasm prevents the jaw from moving back into alignment, a sedative is administered intravenously (IV) to relax the muscles.
You can not dislocate you lip, only a joint where one bone connects to another can be dislocated, such as shoulder, hip or lower jaw etc. then another question my lip has been dislocated but i felt a bone under my lip and it was way sticking out
If a jaw is broken, the best thing is to see a doctor and fix it.
Push the knuckle in front then there ya go
