i had the same prob w/ my 92 seo and for me it was an a/c type sensor that is located on the driver side on the fire wall it has two hoses running off of it . check that out it could be your prob. it is a dealer part however i got one used from a helpfil person on tercelonline The throttle position sensor may need adjustment if the jumping idle is something that is "new" since installing the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor and the TPS (throttle position sensor)
It has to be replaced. no adjustments.
The Throttle Position Sensor is conneceted to the end of the Throttle Shaft inside the Throttle Body. P.S. The Throttle Position Sensor is part of the Throttle Body and must be replaced as a unit. Hope this helps ya.
