Remove the inside door panel. There are three bolts with nuts & washers that hold the mirror onto the truck. If your windows are manual, the crank level will need to be removed.

The knob that adjusts the driver side mirror also adjusts the passenger side mirror. Simply turn the knob to the right to adjust the passenger side, and turn to the left to adjust the driver side. Leaving the knob in the middle, neutral position will keep the mirrors from changing if the knob is hit.
Sedan or Van?... I know I recently changed the passenger side on our sedan, after the wife sucessfully removed it while backing out of the garage one day. There were bolts accesed from inside the vehicle, that allowed for easy removal/replacement. Fred
