You will need to replace the heater core located in the heater housing on the passenger side under the dashboard. If you need to wait to do repairs you can disconnect the two hoses as they enter the firewall in the engine compartment and connect them together with the appropriate sized barbed union connector and hose clamps.
clogged drainage hole in the cowl (under the wipers)...
you may have a septic system leak or a water main leak
What size engine is it first? If the engine is a 4 cylinder. The water pump is under the exhaust manifold. Where the thermostat is. Find the lower radiator hose and there will be a black tube that runs under the engine block and then it goes up under the exhaust manifold. You will find it there with the thermostat. The water pump is not that big.
the reason for water coming out from under the dash is that a hose could have broke or you have a problem with your heater. your heater works off of the water in the radaitor and since it gets hot from the motor well it serculates threw the heater and that's who your heater works
It goes underneath the water pump and around the next pulley.
Rain
wouldn't recomend it because the inside of your engine will rust a bit and if it gets cold out it will crack your engine block and your car would blow up, but you can
You cannot repair the water pump. It needs to be replaced.
White or gray smoke coming out from under the hood of a car could be the result of a small water leak spraying water on a hot engine. A running engine is naturally hot enough to create steam when water hits it.
On the front left of the engine.
I have a water leak under slab concrete and it is coming off the walk into my yard. How do I get to it to fix it without breaking the sidewalk?
Mine does too, I've not gotten around to making an attempt to fix it just yet, however, there is like a rubber strip on the bottom of the windshield that I think is supposed to keep the water out, well I noticed that on my Beretta, it was slightly coming off in some places, enough that I can put one to two fingers in the gap. I'm not sure what to use to seal it though.
