If it is a problem like leaking shocks or the air compressor is not working, then you need to take the car to a professional to have the parts replaced or the problem diagnosed.
If the rear end won't come back down or the compressor keeps running, there is a reset switch in the trunk. On the driver's side trunk floor there should be a cord that you can pull to deactivate the air suspension. If the problem persists after the system has been reset, then take the car to a dealership for proper diagnosis.
You can of course take it to the dealer and have it repaired at a cost. However from my experience you can rid yourself of all the problems associated with the air ride system by converting it to springs and shocks. For $237 you will be rid of all the problems with the OEM system. This will be much cheaper than any repair at a Lincoln dealer. Click the link to learn more.
