To level for an above ground pool simply take a full bucket of water and put a plastic tube in it that will reach every part of the area where you intend to put the pool. When the tube is full of water (NO AIR BUBBLES) You will find that the level at the end of the tube is always the same, so if you measure down from the water level in the tube at the lowest point of the slope where the pool is going to be you will know how much to dig out every where else.
To rig up a simple leveling system
I suggest renting a sand pounder and put a large amount of sand, pound the heck out of it. Also, place a professional weed killer in the sand so that certain weeds will not grow up threw the liner.
We used a laser level to make sure the blocks are the same height all the way around and a regular level to insure the individual blocks are level.
Not much you can do. You are stuck with the situation. Poor prep job.
As a contractor, I can tell you for certain... if your pool isn't level, you won't be able to level it without ripping it out and replacing it, and you're owed money back from your contractor for a shabby job.
a aquafer
It has to be filled above the skimmer ( flow to pump) or else the filter will not work. Also, if too low the liner may dry out above the water line and cause it to shrink.
on level ground remove the center plug on the 3rd member rear side. if fluid is level with bottom edge, then is it full if fluld is not amber and clear, but cloudy , then it is water logged.
Anything above max or full is not recommended.
Make up a water level, this consists of a clear plastic tube full of water with one end in a bucket of water Make sure the tube is long enough to cover the whole area of the proposed pool. you will note that the water level in the tube is always the same as that in the bucket and this will give you the reference you need to measure the slope in the land .
1071 feet above sea level.
The atmosphere is full of layers and when you are at ground level, you have a maximum amount of air above you, but when you climb the mountain, the amount of air decreases and thus the pressure Hope that was helpful!
You could drain it down to the correct level if you feel better about it or you can just let it come down naturally and take advantage of the free water. I have a floating pool skimmer to keep my pool clean and it makes no difference whether my pool is full or nearly empty.
Water level controller
You can but you still have to make sure it is fastened to the ground and it is full at times of flood because they can float and can get washed away if they are not anchored to the ground.
Tap water temperature as "cold" is its normal temperature, depending on what your water source is. Underground water usually from wells/reservoirs is about 55 degrees, where as some parts of the country water comes from above ground lakes/reservoirs, and there the temperature will vary. Its warmer in the summer and can get really really cold in the winter as the above ground water temperature drops.
