It sounds like you radio may be broke. I use to get an error message on mine. I would suggest that your take the radio out, and leave it unplugged for about 30 mins to 1 hour. Plug it back in and see what happens. If the problem continues, then you may need to have it repaired. I had a similar problem with my CD changer, and disconnected the positive battery cable for about a minute, which reset the radio/CD changer and corrected the problem.

Take the CD out and you will see it is 2 separate units the tuner and the changer. Mine one of the 6 discs had slipped 2 in one tray. The other time ti was a disc was slid back too far. Anyway just ake it out you will se what I am talking about. There are trays for the changer and a disc is wrong somehow I bet.Stuart

I used a butter knife with some double-sided tape on to remove the stuck CD. The next problem was that I was still getting a "CD error" message and you could not load or unload the changer. I disconneted the negative battery ground for 10 min then reconnected. The changer went through an initializing process for about 30 sec then worked perfect! Hope this helps....
