Replacement door handles cost about $22 for an aftermarket unit. They come in both smooth finsih (for repaint to match car) or in a black textured finsih. The textured ones are for cars that don't have painted door handles; these are the most common. To replace door handle you need to remove the interior door panel. Pop out the electric window switch, then remove the door arm rest. The door panel is fastened with clips. Tug on the door liner starting at the bottom to remove. Once the panel is off you need to peel back the plastic vapor barrier to get access to the inside of the door. There are two small bolts that hold the door handle in place. Remove the door handle and install the new one. It's tight in there but just take your time and unclip the control rods from the old handle and clip them onto the new door handle. The last time I replaced at door handle (three months ago) it took about 45 minutes. If I did it again I could do it in 2o.
