The head will have to be pulled and the gasket replaced. If the car overheated the head may have warped and will need to be resurfaced or replaced as well.
that just means the console is overheated
Usually it doesn't work like that. You basically need to check why it has been overheated. If it was because of you didn't have enough of coolant than you need to add coolant and check for leakage. If it happened because of the thermostat failure, you need to replace the thermostat and then drive the car. Other things might cause overheating too. PS: You have to be careful when you are dealing with an overheated engine.
fix my car
It could be the fan switch mounted on the n/s of the radiator. Easy job, but if you've overheated the engine there may be further problems. Phil
has the car been overheated?
The thermocouple which measured the car's coolant temperature failed and so the car overheated.
it means that the car wasnt overheated enough to gt to that point
we have to put the gear to neutral and apply brakes, and start the car.
There is no way of knowing until you fix the water pump and timing belt. The car stalled because of the timing belt. If the water pump was doing anything before it went, the car shouldn't have overheated so it is probably alright as far a head or head gasket.
So, ... what is your question?
