New or good used retractors. Once they fail, the inner workings, springs and ratchet locks go bad, the best is replacement for maximum safety. Personally I would not want my kids belted in with suspect retractors, they could fail and provide no measure of restraint. Mosly I just want my kids belted. (har de har har)
