The code P1294 means that the computer is setting a target for the engine to idle at and the engine cannot do it therefore setting the DTC. Solution start by checking or replacing the sparkplugs. Also remove the idler motor from the throttle body and spray it out with carb cleaner. Also spray out the passages in the throttle body that the idle motor use. If that does not fix it you could have another problem like a bad idle motor or something relating to that circuit. Did you replace the TB or make an adjustment to the TPS? As for your spark knock(pinging) this could be related or not. Most of the time pinging occurs is from high combustion tempertures. This could caused by worn plugs, cap and rotor. If not that maybe the truck is running lean but I doubt it because you did not get a code for that. Another thing that could cause pinging on a Dodge truck is oil going into the combustion chambers(i.e. the intake belly pan gasket leaking very common). If you change the plugs go with Autolite 3923 this is one heat range colder. And I forgot to tell you after you make a repair to disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes this clears the KAM (keep alive memory).
P1776, solenoid switch valve latched in low/reverse position. The usual cause is dirt in the transmission valve body.
You have to fix the problem that caused the trouble codes that put it in limp mode.
There is a problem on the engine or transmission. One of the sensors sends a code to the computer and this code is store into the memory. You can use this information to fix the problem To find the errror you have to turn the ignition on and off 3 times. Chrysler calls this key dance ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON. The code with the problem will be display on the cluster. Write it down and check the code.
P0303, cylinder #3 misfire. Check plug, wire, coil, etc.
You have to repair the cause of the code that put it in limp mode.
P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Sometimes this fault code is because the gas cap wasn't properly tightened after the last fill-up. Re-tighten the gas cap making sure it clicks three times. I think the engine light will go out on its own after 25 starts.
You first need to have it checked for codes, you then fix the cause of the code, you can then clear the code with a scan tool.
Usually, the switch has failed in the leftgate handle. The entire emblem/handle will need replaced.
If there are no exhaust leaks or other codes, the catalytic converter has failed. You will need to replace it.
Check all your wiring for your map sensor, if ok replace the map sensor.
If you are asking about a code for internal controller failure, you need to replace the controller.
