Drain the old coolant via the lower rad. hose into a catch pan. Now it is good to flush the system. Remove one of the heater core hose's at the fire wall. With a garden hose in the open heater hose flush it. Then put the garden hose in the metal tube ( heater core line ) and flush that. With the rad. hose back on and clamped, and the heater hose just back on, no clamp. Fill the rad. with a good coolant ( pure ) till it's full, start the engine with the heater in the car on full, the coolant will go down so keep the rad. topped up. As the engine reaches operating temp. the thermostat will open and it will need more coolant. Top up. Now bleed the system with the heater hose at the fire wall. Open the hose slightly, with engine running, air and coolant will come out, do it slowly, can get hot, and coolant will drop on the exhaust so watch for smoke. Do this till all the air is out, both heater hoses will be hot. Top up rad. , job done.
