ETC engine failsafe mode means that the rotations per minute of the engine are being limited. This is also known as limp mode.
Never knew that there was a security code for the radio, just set the stations etc.
What engine size? Model? Etc?
The ETC sensor on a 2005 Mazda 6 is located on top of the engine near the rear. It is connected to the vehicle's on-board computer with a wiring harness.
Really have top know the year,engine size,etc to answer this.
Most likely the front plug on the passenger side.

The ETC is electronic throttle control. It includes the throttle body, on the intake. The engine computer, under the cowl passenger side, and numerous sensors.
any engine that shares the same block. Find out what your engine code is (eg. ZZ130) and then any Toyota engine with the same block will bolt right up to those mounts. Now, that being said, there may be a LOT more work involved depending on if the engine you swap in was ever in that model to begin with. If not, good luck with wiring, etc.

You can use Cheat Engine and the Modifier/Modified Game code, so you can use god, etc.
Try your local auto parts stores (e.g: NAPA - Auto Zone - etc -etc) - if they cannot help you try an internet search engine and see if it may be availabele on-line.
