From my experience, you may have one of two problems:
-The backlight for the LCD has failed
-The inverter board has gone bad
At the bottom of the screen is a bulb and it is gradually dying just like a florescent light bulb
You can replace the screen, but it can be a bit tricky. Prices run from 80-150 USD.
Replace the backlight...
Likely it is caused by a poor connection to the laptop display. It is risky to disassemble a laptop, but if you can do that without damaging anything, it is likely very easy to fix. Begin by searching the internet for help in disassembly of that particular model. If you get it apart, try wiggling connections to the display to find which connector is poor. Fix it by cleaning contacts with a mild electrical cleaner and tissue or pencil eraser. Make sure the connection is not loose, perhaps using a bit of silicone glue on the outside of it.
Pour Red Paint on the Laptop-particularly the Monitor-It would go red and Stop working

Pink is a tint of the primary color red. By mixing red with white you end up with various shades of pink.
First of all you'll have to figure out if the problem is related to the laptop display or there is something wrong with the motherboard. Test your laptop with an external monitor. If video on both internal and external screens is bad, most likely your problem is related to the motherboard or the video card. It's possible that you have a software related issue. Before you replace any hardware, try reinstalling the video driver or even reimaging the hard drive. If external video is fine but video on the internal screen is bad, you have a problem with the laptop display panel. In this case try - reseating the video cable on both motherboard and LCD screen - replacing the video cable - finally replacing the LCD screen
