How do you fix the driver's side door lock of a 2000 grand Cherokee It's not locking making a loud buzz sound?

the lock solonoid (switch) may be bad. Both locks on my back doors sounded funny and would not lock. dealer replaced both switches now they slam into the 'locked' and 'unlocked' position.
