there are 2 wires on the replacement fuel sender for my Kubota RTV. where do I hook the 2 wires?
I suspect that the sender is bad or the wiring to it. The fuel sender is mounted along side the fuel pump which is located in the fuel tank. If your pump was just replaced maybe the sender was damaged in the process. It may just have gone bad also.
The sender is in the fuel tank and requires you to drop the tank as that is the only way to get to the hose and wires.
If it's like my 88, then the problems probably in the sender ... and that's inside the fuel tank.
Well, the fuel pump, as well as the fuel sender unit, are inside the fuel tank. It's possible that the sender was damaged when the pump was replaced. It's also possible that one of the wires was not connected properly, or has come loose. If you had this work done at a shop, take the car back and make them fix it.
dodge is known for fuel pick up issues. the fuel sender unit has low voltage. change that and fuel filter. nnot an easy fix . because both are in fuel tank.
I would start by suspecting that the vehicle has a bad fuel level sender the only ggod way to tell is to plug the scan tool from the dealer on to the vehicle. They have test were they can Sweep the gages if it works there then the fuel level sender is most likely bad or wiring, but most likely the level sender.
with a very expensive laptop that Renault specialists have
Probably the sender unit in the tank is broken. Removable from the trunk on the right side under carpet. You can test it with an ohmmeter on the tank connector.
fault will either be the sender unit, or the gauge in dashboard
Its one of two things. Likely, it is the fuel level sender which is part of the fuel pump assembly in the gas tank. You can replace the fuel pump assembly, but it is expensive. It also could be a bad instrument cluster, not very likely. Try junk yard for parts.
below the fuel pump there is a diaode with a float attached, what happens is the diaode burns out with repeated usage, pull the tank pay 50.00 to get a new sender to put on the float and taaaa daaaaaaaa your fuel guage will work again
