those lenses come out by removing the two screws in the lens, the bulbs are push and twist type. if the switch is the problem, you need to remove the steering wheel and then remove the metal cover over the switch housing, you can then replace the switch. you may be able to slide the cover down the column without removing the steering wheel but i dont think there is enough room. Change the lights
There are 2 one under the dash near the steering column for the turn signals one under the glove box for the emergency flashers (switch in glove box)
WHAT IS THE QUESTION? yes ford rangers have turn signals LOL
2002 ford explorer turn signals not working

There are two relays, one for the emergency flasher and one for the turn signals. Replace the Flasher Relay for the turn signals, it is defective.
It could be as simple as a fuse. Or as hard as a multi-funtion switch. Which means the switch for your turn signals.
On a 2005 Ford Mustang : Either put your park lights or your low beam headlights on and then pull the headlight control out towards you to turn on the factory fog lights
There are a couple of reasons why the turn signals will not work on a 1998 Ford Explorer. The light bulbs may need replaced or a fuse has blown.
