Before you read this, keep ion mind that I know nothing about triumphs other than that they're usually old cars that usually have metal radiators. Hopefully someone else will provide a better answer soon.
1-Drain the radiator.
2-Remove it from the vehicle.
3-Drain it again.
4-Soak it in a mild acid solution, such as 20% vinegar, 80% water for about an hour to remove deposits.
5-Drain and rinse inside and out with water, then dry.
6-If there is a leaky area, apply flux to that area
then heat with a brazing torch (or cutting torch with a cool wide flame). Apply solder to the area. Feed the solder in quickly, you'll need quite a bit.
Heavy gauge solid core solder is good. If using lead based solder, use appropriate health and safety precautions. Lead is poisonous. Seal off openings and dunk in a tank of water.
7-Reinstall the radiator, leak check, and fill.
DEPENDING ON HOW DECAYED IT IS ,SOAKING IT IN AN ACID SOLUTION WILL LET YOU KNOW QUICKLY,THIS WILL CREATE MORE LEAKS ,I WOULD SUGGEST TAKING IT TO A RADIATOR SHOP,WHERE THEY USE THE APPROPRIATE ACID SOLUTION,AND CAN RUN A PRESSURE TEST TO REASSURE NO MORE LEAKS.THE ACID WILL TELL ALL ,IF NOT TO BAD THEN BRAZING,FLUX REPAIR.

The parts that are needed to fix a car radiator depends on what is wrong with the radiator. It would be best to have the radiator fixed by a professional.
The first step that you can take to fix a radiator is to see if it needs to be bled. To bleed a radiator you will need a radiator bleed key. Unscrew the valve at the side of the radiator and when the first drop of water comes out, close the valve again. If this does not fix the radiator you will need to call in a plumber.
It is under the housing where the upper radiator hose hooks to the engine.
