had this happen a few times, usually just reinstalling the GPU driver fixes it. I just download the latest one from Nvidia/AMD site, do a clean install and restart, works most of the time. if it’s still acting up, rolling back the driver helped me once too.
A video card driver is a piece of software that tells your computer how to send images to your video card, so it can display them on your monitor. With more modern operating systems that can operate a video card without installing a driver, they are used to control more advanced features of the card like hardware acceleration and TV output.
There are many video card drivers available today. You can choose from the diamond multimedia driver, lifeview driver, Biostar driver, Asus driver and many more.
The issue is the video card driver either isn't installed correctly, or the monitor isn't being seen correctly with the right driver. The most common problem is the video card driver. Go to Device Manager, and right click the video card, and select UNINSTALL. then reboot your computer, and it should reinstall automatically
Try searching the video card manufacturer's website for updated drivers.
printer scanner digital camera (these are hardware devices)
Lots of people said to upgrade your video card driver. I tried t on my NVIDIA GeForce 6600, but it was the newest version and it still didn't work. But, You probably have a different video card than I do :)
Device Manager>Display Adapters>*choose your video card*>Properties>Driver> Click Driver Details for the finish -Chilltown
That is a video card, not a driver. A driver is software that tells the video card what to do. Meant to ask what video card is better than the one you mentioned? ..Go to a dedicated PC hardware forum and ask there ..not here. (ex: bleeping computer)
Go to your video card manufacturer's website and they should have a download page. This is where you should be able to download the latest drivers.
A driver tells your computer how to use the video card you installed. Usually they are included with any software that you buy, if not, you can download it from the manufacturer's website.
Update the driver for your video card. The first place to look for current drivers is the card manufacturer's website. If that doesn't work, unfortunately, it won't work with that video card.
You can disable the onboard video, and install a new video card into a pci slot. It should work fine. Good luck. but my PC doesnt turn on?
