Unplug Battery for 10 minutes. BCM issue. Not sure on original cause. It is normally due to a software bug in the bcm. The dealer can flash New software into the bcm to correct the problem.
No, it is built into the BCM and can not be removed.
Body Control Module, this controls all doorlocks.
It is bolted to the fire wall under the dash on the driver side.

You can't. the alarm is part of the bcm (body computer) software.

My first suggestion is to have the Body Computer (BCM) checked for codes. Chrysler has released a software update for the bcm that the dealer can perform that fixes a lot of lock complaints on 2005 vans.
