zerex super flush or if its really bad the super clean. zerex is made by valvoline
Dexcool unless you flush thoroughly and use the green stuff
Every 160 000 km if it has Dexcool in the rad.
DexCool, but I would flush it all all and just Use the regular prestone stuff. Dexcool tends to turn to jello after a while and ruin everything.
GM dexcool is what it came factory with. It's good for 5 yr 100km. You could thouroughly flush system and use green but there is no problem with the dexcool
LMAO ! I WOULDNT DO THAT ! LOOK UP: "DEXCOOL CLASSACTION SUIT" THIS CLASSACTION WAS AGAINST GM & DEXCOOL. APPROX. 33,000,000 Cars & Trucks MADE BETWEEN 1994 OR 95-2004 WERE CLAIMANTS DEXCOOL EATS AWAY AT YOUR GASKETS ETC.......$$$$$$$ KINDA HANDY, WHEN MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, KEEP COMING BACK TO HAVE YOU FIX, WHAT YOU BROKE...... GET THE GM DEXCOOL OUT ! BACK FLUSH THE SYSTEM & PUT TOYOTAS LONGLIFE COOLANT IN.
The answer is no. any regular or universal antifreeze will gum up and ruin your entire cooling system when it is mixed with dexcool. If you want to use any green coolant you will need to drain and flush your your system first.
It came from the factory with Dex-cool antifreeze.......added by haroldb. Don't use dexcool. Flush out your system and put plain antifreeze back in.. G M has a lot of law suits on dexcool
If you are using the red,Dexcool, antifreeze it is a biproduct of oi mixing with air in the cooling system. You need to get a professional to clean and flush the system. Then use the green antifreeze. There is currently a class action suit in regards to Dexcool.
DON'T USE DEXCOOL.Drain out your system,Flush it out, And replace with regular anti freeze. O'reilly brand is O K. The Green stuff.
there is no reset you have replace the low coolant sensor and flush cooling system and use dexcool coolant.
Considering that General Motors has several class action suits against them in regards to Dexcool (pink antifreeze) I would flush using the green antifreeze. The best thing to do is go online to bgfindashop.com and locate a shop near you to flush the system. They will add a cleaner and run it then do a reverse flush that will remove all the antifreeze from the system including the heater. Once that is completed they will add a conditioner.
