Unless it is the Luxury edition, the seats do not fold down.
You can't fold down the seats, they are bolted in...
I just purchased a 2006 silverado w/t. Can I replace the front bench seat with a bench seat that has a fold down console? (do they have the same bolt hole pattern)
There should be a little lever behind the seats. Pull up on this and then the seats will fold down for you.
The back seat of a Chevy Cavalier is a split bench seat. The release for the seat is located in the trunk behind the split. Simply pull the release and fold the seat down.
how do u fold down mid-gate on 2003 chevy avalanche LT 1500
not sure about all years, but they do not in the 1999.
In order to get the backseat to fold down in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier, you need to go through the trunk. There should be two straps, one on either side of the seats. Sometimes, these straps get pushed into the cracks, so be sure to look thoroughly. Pull either one of the straps to fold down the seat. The seats will fold down as one section. Some 2004 Chevy Cavaliers were shipped without the option to fold down the backseat, though the number is very few.
The benefits of buying a used Chevy Silverado over a new one are two-fold. First, the initial purchase price will be much less. Second, the depreciation will be much slower. A new vehicle depreciates greatly as soon as you drive it off the lot.
