Open the cheat box with ctrl., shift, and c all at the same time. Then, type boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true, as it's written here and hit enter. Then, shift click on the sim you want to increase the skill on and click spawn. Then, keep clicking more until you find sim modder. Click on it and find skills. Then, click mechanical to either max or mid and your skill should be raised. Happy simming!

you'll need to find mechanical points. Look around the places and there are special times that they appaer i dont know the times but just check Google or something.
