As both driveshafts will need to be removed, the best advise I can offer is to buy a Haynes manual and follow the comprehensive instructions in that.
I have been onto Haynes for the same for my 1998 CLK, and they said that a manual is not available for the CLK as they did not sell enough of them.
In terms of running gear etc. probably best to get hold of a Haynes manual off of Ebay or try the likes of Halfords etc. - the generic manual for the Metro should include the diesels, just check the years it runs to first. Alternatively, if it is engine related, Rover did use the PeugeotCitroen Diesel from the AX 1.4 then latterly the 1.5 TU5, andd have a copy of that manual here.
If you have ABS there are no valves, If no ABS they are under the rear of the car attached to the rear suspension with a spring. From the Haynes Manual
