Try moving the hut to the corner. Or maybe block the corner with something heavy like a paperweight. If that doesn't work, chuck out the hut (in u.s.a that means put the hut in the trash) and just put in the cage some hamster bedding. You can buy it from pet stores and your hamster will move it somewhere he likes and make a warm cosy bed!
That is a natural hamster behavior, and it isn't really something you can change. They do make "hamster outhouses" that you can place in the corner. They will pee in that instead of their bedding. It is easier to clean.
He is making a nest for himself to sleep in. All hamsters do that. I have had two of them.
your female hamster will get aggressive, start hoarding food , and making a circular nest in the corner of your cage.
They will make a nest out of the bedding you put in the cage.
It means it prefers the corner of the cage than to its bed. This is nothing to be worried about. (:
where your hamster sleeps it will get shavings in a pile and go in there or it will get in a hidey hole or a corner of the cage and may occasionally burry itself so watch carefully.
yes because were would it sleep
a hamster doesnt molt. instead they have furballs which lie around the cage. these are also tiny x
Get him a chew toy
when you get a hamster of the pet they give u a small little box to travel home with. with the hamster in it you then put the box inside the cage and let her climb out when she has got used to her cage and climbs in to her bed gently take the box out and let him/her get used to the cage and go to sleep.
Yes. You should have it in the cage in addition to being in your bed while you sleep. ***** It is not a good idea to have a hamster in your bedroom: Hamsters are more active at night, so having the cage in your bedroom may mean a rather disturbed sleep (especially if it likes using a hamster wheel with a squeak!).
Most budgies will sleep at a certain part of a cage. If you have one of those small swing perches they might sleep there every night. It is nothing to worry about.
