To get the Christmas Stocking on Harvest Moon, you must shear your sheep to get wool. Then put the wool into the yarn machine (you can buy that from the blacksmith) to make a roll of yarn. Then give the yarn to Nina (or if she's already died then you can give it to Grant) and she will say something about it taking a few days. Then she will either give it to you or you collect it, I'm not sure, and taadaa!!

Give Nina enough gifts to get her to 200 friend points, then give her a ball of yarn.

if your child is already born and Nina is dead, go to Galen's house anytime when he has 200 friend points and he will give you a sock

If you mean (More) Friends of Mineral Town, you have to befriend her. Then you have to upgrade your barn once and get the Yarn Maker. Then shear your sheep and put it in the Maker. It doesn't matter what size. Then you give her the yarn in the morning. If you give it to her in the evening, she will just take it as a present. She will knit the sock for you and take till 6:00pm to do so
