go to "www.dmv.ca.gov" You will need to contact the dmv to request a dup title to re-register and title it in New Jersey.
is this vehicle currently registered?
The sales tax is definitely added WHERE you buy your car.
Get it registered and pay for it or sell it.
The vehicle registration code 4000A1 in California means the vehicle needs to be registered. This code also applies to trailers.
If the vehicle is currently registered (i.e.: has valid current tags) the state requires that it be insured. If the vehicle is not currently registered, it is not required that it be insured - but NOBODY may operate it.
Yes you should be able to. I purchased a car in Illinois and drove to Virginia with temp tags and registered it in Virginia once I got there
You pay the sales tax when you go into the DMV to register the vehicle. In this case you would be paying the Arizona sales tax. I purchased a car from Colorado and registered it in Califonia and payed California sales tax.

You need the title to be in whatever state you registered the vehicle in.
In most states, you can trade in the vehicle without it being registered. However, you do need a TITLE to prove that you own the vehicle.
Go to DMV
If you had the vehicle registered before it was repo'd, of course you do.
