You should receive a transfer cable upon purchasing an Xbox 360 Elite or a 120 GB HDD.

Alternatively, you could call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and claim that you bought a 120 GB HDD, but didn't receive a transfer cable. They should send you one for free.

To transfer over the data you can either use a transfer cable or simply a USB stick. I think they recommend using a 16gb for some reason I do not know. Also the USB stick used has to be atleast 1gb and have nothing on it as when you put it in the xbox 360 it has to check it and delete everything. Hope this helps.
