Should you shut off the air ride system on 93 crown vic in the winter?

No. If you shut it off, the back end will ride on the ground. The air ride is the suspension, the air bags replace coil springs. And, if you ever have major problems with it, look up strutmasters.com, and just replace the bags with real coil springs.

Can the air ride system in a Lincoln Mark VIII be repaired?

You can replace the bags. The down side to that is your suspension is old and the components are old and warn. What happens when you put new bags on the car they are fresh and the compression has to work extra hard to break in the air bags and pump up the stiffer bags. That's when everything goes out. I had a 1997 Town car and my rear bags went out. I bought a kit online. It took me 20 mins to install. Unplug the bags. They come right out then the springs go right in. Cheaper than new bags and still had an amazing ride. Better than the bags in my opinion. Heres a website to get them at. http://www.strutmasters.com/Lincoln-town-car-suspension-s/37.htm

To check the bags, soapy water them and if you see bubbles then you know you have a leak.

How do you adjust the air ride suspension on a 1995 FLD?

There's a suspension valve towards the rear of the frame... there's a little room to tilt it so that you can raise or lower the air suspension. Just loosen the nuts on the back of it, tilt it, tighten it down when it's where you want it to be.

How do you adjust ride height on kenworth ag460 suspension?

There's a leveling valve at the back, and, if you loosen the four bolts, you'll find that you can rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise as needed, then tighten it back down.

Why is your 1998 ford expedition sitting down in the back?

There is a leak somwhere in the system or a failure in the pump. It is also possible that there is a faulty level meter. You can trace it down, but the most common solution is simply to convert the airbag/air ride suspension over to a coil suspension.
