Have the front of the car elevated. either have it on stands, or parked on a hill. Fill the rad up, start the engine, and let it run for 10-20 minutes to reach running temperature. Fill as needed. Parking the car like that puts the rad as the highest point, and any air that's stuck wants to get out and will go to the highest point!
