I'd had a girl cat for 7 months when i brought home a little boy. She hissed, popped and bit him when ever he was near. What I did was every day she would take her afternoon nap I would take him and lay him next to her and she would bathe him then hiss at him. I did this for three weeks while keeping him in a room all to himself. Then I would bathe her and put him in the water I took her out of to mingle they're scents. After a month of that, my girl got severely sick and had to spend nearly two full weeks at the vets. She had swallowed a 1 and 1/2 inch stick, which caused her to not be able to have bowel movements till she passed it. During that two week span I let him have free rein of the house. Once she had recovered she was happy to see him. Now they bathe each other, sleep curled up together, eat together, and play together. Also if the older one likes to bite the younger one let them (not for long) but still its them teaching the younger ones to defend themselves.

Melt one pound of butter in a pan on the stovetop. When the butter is melted, add a pinch of tarragon and two bay leaves. Let mixture steep for 5-10 minutes. Let cool at least half an hour.

When herb-butter mixture has come to room temperature, pour over the offending cat.

The two cats will get along like peas in a pod.

An herb-butter covered pea pod.

If these kittens are not littermates and have recently met each other, they may become friends once they have more time to become accustomed to each other's scent and get to know each other. One way to facilitate this is to place one kitten in a bathroom behind a closed door (with water, food and litter box in the bathroom) and to place the other kitten in the bedroom (or other room) that adjoins the bathroom and close the bedroom door. If possible, place a blanket that smells like the other kitten in the bathroom. The two kittens will probably start playing with each other by sticking their paws under the bathroom door. This will allow them to become playmates in a non-threatening environment. Try that approach for at least six hours a day for about a week. (Be sure not to leave the kitten in the bathroom alone for the entire day or he may become lonely and afraid of people.) If this doesn't work, then then purchase (or make) a "kitty fishing pole" and see if they will take turns jumping for the feather (or other cat toy) on the end of the pole. If all else fails, then place them in the same room (as large a room as possible that is safe from outdoor escape) and, under your supervision, let them get to know each other. Of course, if they appear to be injuring each other in a fight, you must separate them immediately. (You may wish to keep a loaded water gun on hand for this purpose, particularly if the kittens may wind up fighting under a bed where you cannot reach them.) But if they are just hissing at each other but not physically touching, stay out of it. Particularly if the kittens are males approaching six months of age, they may be hissing simply in an attempt to establish dominance. Their fights may resolve once one becomes the dominant cat. Of course, you must at all times ensure that both of them have plenty of food, water, litter box access, and human attention, as their feelings of security may make it easier for them to adjust to each other.

I have had two cats living together-they really love each other now.

The things we did and some of the things you should do are:

-play with both of them at the same time...

-Get them to eat from two separate bowls, but close/near to each other...

-Put one behind a glass door and hold there gently, whilst the other cat on the other side so they can get a look at each other...

-Give the same amount of attention to each cat...

-Make the cats feel welcome and like it is their home even though there is another cat...

-One person holds one cat...another person holds the other and put them close together so they can learn how to be 'close' or next to each other...

(i hope this helps)

Be patient! They will over time be fond of each other

How do you get cats to like each other on petz catz clans?

I havn't played Catz Clan is forever, so my answer may be a little.. Meeeh. To get two cats to like eachother, make sure they're in the same room, and make sure all their needs are satisfied, and get them both to like you. If you give them time, they'll interact every now and then, and they'll start to like the other cat.

Why does my feamale cat lick my male cats butt?

When two cats live together and are friendly with each other (like, sleep next to each other), they often wash each other. It's a sign of affection for one another. Usually, they wash each other's heads (the top of the head). Cats have a lot of trouble washing the tops of their heads themselves: they have to lick their paw, and then wipe the paw over their head. It's the only method they have, and it doesn't really work all that well. So, when two cats live together and are friendly, they will often wash each other's heads. They might also wash each other's back, neck, or belly.

How do you make a 15 year old cat get along with a 3 month old cat?

If they're newly adopted, you might want to introduce them slowly, getting their scents on towels and letting the cats smell each other without physically meeting. If both cats are neutered/spayed, the cats will most likely get along better, as fertile cats tend to be more defensive. My two cats have about a ten year age difference and they still spat occasionally. They are both male. So that they don't hurt each other if they do fight, try buying nail caps (some can be found at www.softpaws.com) for them. These can be glued to the nails and don't hurt them at all. Many times, what looks like rough fighting can actually be playing. Our cats like to pounce on each other and startle each other. However, if either of your cats do injure each other, keep them separate as much as possible. See a vet for more solutions; they are trained professionals and can probably help you more than I can. Thanks!

How do you make two pets to be friends?

If there are two cats in your house, buy 2 t-shirts one for 1 of your cats and one to the other. Then rub 1 t-shirt on one cat and put it in the other cats bed to get used to the smell of the other cat.(Do the same to the other cat). This should help the cats get used to the different smells that they have on each other. (This can be done for both cats and dogs.)

What is the deference between a modern cat and a cat from ancient Egypt?

The ancient Egyptian cats have changed immensley. The reason for this is because, over the years, a certain breed of cat have been breeded with other cats to make the offspring look half and half. Since then, people have been breeding different cats with each other to make a whole new breed of cats.
