Walk west on Carroll Street (in the opposite direction of traffic) until it ends at Van Brunt Street.Turn left onto Van Brunt Street, and walk 3 blocks south on Van Brunt to Bowne Street.Turn right onto Bowne Street, and follow Bowne Street until it turns into Clinton Wharf. Then keep walking on Clinton Wharf, which will lead you straight to the Cruise Terminal.

Yes, you can. Follow Clinton Wharf from the Cruise Terminal until it curves north and becomes Bowne Street. Follow Bowne Street until it intersects with Van Brunt Street (next block after Imlay Street).Turn left onto Van Brunt Street, and walk 3 blocks north on Van Brunt to Carroll Street.Turn right onto Carroll Street, and walk east on Carroll Street (in the same direction as traffic) to Smith Street.The Carroll Street subway station is at the intersection of Carroll and Smith Streets. Take the Uptown (Manhattan-bound) F train (of the B-D-F-M, the orange line) from Carroll Street to West 4th Street in Manhattan.Transfer at West 4th Street to the Uptown A-C-E (the blue line), and take the A, C or E from West 4th Street to 34th Street-Penn Station.
