Take the S train from Grand Central to Times Square, and the the number 1 train from there to 103rd street. It's a relatively short walk from the 103rd street station. For your safety, you may be well advised to take a taxi once you exit the 103rd street station.
From 106th Street north to 110th
According to the calculations I got using Google Maps and a tape measure, the length of that block (106th Street between Park and Lexington) is 471 feet.
Park Avenue and East 106th Street is in the heart of the neighborhood known as East Harlem, aka Spanish Harlem, in Upper Manhattan. East Harlem/Spanish Harlem is the neighborhood directly above the Upper East Side.
Pope Adrian II was the 106th pope.
There is no bus directly to Grand Central, but there is a city bus (the M60) that runs between LaGuardia and Manhattan. You can then transfer to the subway to Grand Central. The M60 bus only makes five stops in Manhattan, and they're all in Upper Manhattan: West 106th Street and Broadway (in the Morningside Heights neighborhood), West 116th Street and Broadway (also in Morningside Heights), West 125th Street and Amsterdam Avenue (in Harlem), West 125th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard (Harlem), East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue (East Harlem).Get off at the 125th and Lexington stop, and transfer to the Downtown 4 or 5 express trains (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line), 3 stops, from 125th Street (at Lexington Avenue) to 42nd Street-Grand Central Station (between Park and Lexington Avenues).See the Related Link below for information about the M60bus.
You can't; there is no subway service to LaGuardia. The only public transportation to LaGuardia is the M60 bus.The M60 bus runs through Upper Manhattan only (via 106th and 125th Streets) so you'll have to take the subway. The simplest way to get to the M60 from Grand Central is to take the Uptown 4or 5 express trains (of the 4-5-6, the dark green line), 3 stops, from 42nd Street-Grand Central to 125th Street (at Lexington Avenue). Then get the M60 bus at its 125th and Lexington stop.Note that the M60 bus does not operate between 1 and 5 am.See the Related Link below for more information about the M60 bus.
It used to be on 106th & Manhattan Avenue until it moved to a new location because a Goliath National Bank (The world leader in credit and banking) took over, on a numbered street ^^

The cheapest way is to take the subway. You can also take a cab or an airport shuttle like Super Shuttle (1-800-BLUE-VAN). First, take the shuttle (called the AirTrain) from inside the JFK terminals, to the Howard Beach Station of the A train (of the A-C-E, the blue line). Then take the Manhattan-bound A train to 34th Street-Penn Station.
