∙ 15y agoThere's no such item as a 'Mystic Gem,' whoever told you there was is either misinformed or lying. The Adamant Orb, used to power up Dialga's moves, is found at the Spear Pillar, though I can't say for sure exactly where, so you'll have to hunt around. However, you won't find an item called a 'Mystic Gem,' so you'd be wasting your time to try.

∙ 12y agoTo get gems, you use the digger drill to go unde grond. Then touch the touch screen. You will see sparkles walk up to the wall where you saw the sparkles and press "A." It will show you another screen where you have to tap the touch screen to try to find the gems. That's all there is to it!
