How do you get in a car in roblox?

Most cars in Roblox can be driven by sitting in the driver's seat and using the awsd keys to move.

First, make a square block.

Second, make another, and attatch them together.

Third, attatch two motor joints on the sides of the back block, and two regular joints on the sides of the front block.

Fourth, attatch wheels to all the joints/motors.

Fifth, attatch a seat to the top of one of the blocks.

I think that will work but if it wont drive, I'm not sure what to do for that, try wiring maybe?

Once you get good at it, you can make your car more cool looking, or change the shape to get the ones like you see in the featured games. ;-D

Making a car is easy unless you don't know how to script LUA. If you don't, look in the Roblox wiki; it's extremely helpful.

First- Make two squares, and attatch them together. This will be the body.

Second- Add a joint on each side (not the front) of the front square of the body.

Third- Add a motor joint on each side (not the back) of the back square of the body.

Fourth- Make four wheels.

Fifth- Attatch one wheel to each joint/moter on the body. The joints on the car should connect with a FLAT side of the wheels.

Sixth- Place a seat on the top of the front square of the body. This will be the driver seat.

Seventh- Open your scripting thingy. Script instructions for the following:

-when the seat is sat in, the user controls the moters of that exact car;

-when the user presses the "up arrow" key, both of the motors accelerate forward;

-when the user presses the "left arrow" key, the right side motor accelerates backwards, and the left side motor accelerates forwards;

-when the user presses the "right arrow" key, the right side motor accelerates forward, and the left side motor accelerates backwards;

-when the user press the "down arrow" key, both of the motors accelerate backwards.

You also need to script and tell the computer the following:

-This is the driver seat;

-this is the left motor;

-this is the right motor;

-left motor accelerates forward: counter-clockwise;

-right motor accelerates forward: clockwise;

-left motor accelerates backwards: clockwise;

-right motor accelerates backwards: counter-clockwise.

Now, you can add a passenger seat on the top of the back block on the body (this is optional).

You can make a car in Garry's Mod by using the wheel tool, weld tool, thruster tool, and whatever you want to use. You can weld props together with the weld tool or just put wheels on a prop.

I usually put wheels on the prop and put thrusters on it to make it turn and go forward. There are also a bunch of tutorials for making a car in Garry's Mod.

I don't really know how to MAKE a vehicle,but I know where you can get one for free,no hastle and doesn't cost either tix or R$(robux). Just open up the game you want to have a vehicle in,and we can get started:

1. At the top of your screen,you will see a grey toolbar. Select "Insert".

2. Then,you will see a side-bar pop-up. It says "bricks",so just click the arrow,scroll all the way down and click "Free Models".

3. Here,you type in car,or truck or bus or whatever vehicle you want in your game,and then there will be some things that other people made you can use in your game. Choose any one of them you want,but I would suggest one that has a regen button.(regen is short form for REGENerate).

4. Then when you select it it goes into your game. If you want the people who join your game to drive,in the Free Models section just type in Drive Giver and choose.

EXTRA: If you wanted to MAKE one instead of using free models,I'm sorry I don't know how. "Free Models" can be used for EVERYTHING. If you wanted a rat,or some rain or anything in your game just search it in free models and there you have it.

Well it all depends who made it. Some cars like in the good ol' days of 07, you can jump on the top and go through and go out the same way. But now in the years of 2011-2012 technology is getting more advanced. Nowadays people have cars where you click on the door and they open up and you jump inside. Like i said it depends who made it

It may be easiest for you to start with a free model car and simply modify it to suit your needs. If you want to build a car from scratch, you can get a basic, customizable car by attaching a vehicle seat object and some wheels to a brick. Be sure to put a motor surface on the wheels so that they can spin freely when they are attached to the car.
