On previous versions at least, this was a common Q on Nissan trucks!
There are 2 bolts on the inside of the bed, (behind the light assembly), which means you may have to go under your bed liner if you have one. Sort of a pain! The entire assembly will pull out.
Nissan builds its Frontier pickup truck in the United States. The company utilizes its Smyrna, Tenn. assembly plant to manufacture this small truck.
how do you change the tail lights on a 1996 Nissan pick up?
If your truck has a bedliner....its behind it. It took our mechanic 45 minutes to figure it out.
Show us a video on how to change a clutch on a 1993 Nissan pickup truck.
they wont change out
Yes! I did this to a 1994 Nissan 4x4. But you will also have to buy the headlights and marker lights. The metal behind the grill is all the same between the pathfinder and pickup truck from back then. The only other thing you will have to do is change the plugs on the end of the wiring harness for the lights but it is really simple.
it's not hard
The brake lights in your 1983 Nissan pickup truck are controlled by the brake light relay switch. When the brake light relay switch malfunctions the brake lights will stop working.
my truck (nissan pick up) has not halogen, so i have to change the sealed beam. how to do it? On my '95, I had to remove the grill to gain access to the sealed beams. Then remove the screws holding the retaining ring. (don't take out the adjusting screws!) Unplug the old bulb, plug in the new one, making sure it is right side up, and put everything back together.
Faulty switch on the stalk on steering column, had it do that to me on a mazda.
Those tail lights could be the brake lights you are seeing and that would be a faulty brake light switch or the brake light switch is out of adjustment.
