If the keys are locked in the trunk and you have a dead battery and are mechanically inclined then find the cars fuse box and look at the diagram,and find the fuse that controls the electric trunk release (if you do not see it then find the fuse for the door locks,the trunk release may be on the same circuit).
Once you have found it you will need to a jumper wire with a small flat blade connector on one end and an alligator clip on the other end,then take out the blade fuse and take the blade connector of the jumper wire and insert it into the left side pin where the fuse goes and then gently replace the fuse until it is secure (the fuse will not go all the way in its slot but will go far enough to make a connection with both pins) then connect the alligator clip to the positive side of a fresh car battery...this will supply power to the unit and you will still have the protecrion of the fuse,then just push your trunk button,and remove the jumper wire following the reverse....
If the keys are locked in the passenger area of the car then call a locksmith,or use a slim Jim to open the door lock...

What year model is? If it is a 1994-2000 you can connect a car battery to jump-start points in the engine bay, and open the trunk from the trunk release button inside the car.
