How do you get into the underworld in Poptropica?

There are undergrounds on many Poptropica islands.

Early Poptropica : enter either of the manholes (Main Street and Poptropica Towers)

Shark Tooth Island : spell the word OPEN in ancient symbols to open the face lock

Super Power island : enter the restrooms in the park to reach the sewer

Big Nate Island : the lost dog Spitsy will dig up the Time capsule (feed him a peanut butter cracker).

Astro Knights Island : get the key from the underground room at the fountain, to enter Mordred's underground lab

Counterfeit Island : get the tickets to the Underground Tour, and later enter the Inspector's house to reach the Black Widow's lair.

Mythology Island : use the pomegranates from the Sphinx Garden on the Hades altar

Spell the word OPEN in hieroglyphics (press the four teeth in the face, then the nose). The translation page is on top of the ruins.

Counterfeit Island

There are 6 pieces of a torn picture around the island. Collect them, then change the 8 features on the Dragon Face lock to match the drawing.

Go to the Temples and then you will see a purple Centaur and then talk to him he'll say " You must leave an appropriate offering to the gods " then make sure you already got the pomegranates.then jump out of the mountain,there's a cliff nearby there.and then jump off,and help the worker to erase all of those graffiti on Hades's Realm.then after you do that one,the worker will give you a one single drachma.then skip right to Hades's Realm,and then the door is locked.Use your pomegranates and you will leave it as an offer for Hades,and then you should jump on the Hades's cliff thing and then head your arrow to the right and then you will go to the room where is the River of Styx. then just Dodge those perils and then see Hades of course!

Then you have to go into his temple that's after Apollo's temple, go to the door on the right side of the temple (even though it's the ONLY door there) then you have to use the pomegranates since they are sacred to Hades, go across the River Styx, and play that song that the statue taught you in Apollo's Temple.

You go to where that big sphinx is and you climb it. There should be a pomegranates tree up there. take the pomegranates and go to that big hole where the temples are. go inside and go to the door that's in there. use your pomegranates and the door should open!

There are two ways really. One in Big Nate the other in Mythology. In Big Nate you keep on going right till you see the lighthouse. You have to collect the flying picture and bring it to the man in the camera man. He will give you the thing you need to breathe underwater. Click dive and your there.

For the second way on Mythology you must go ALL the way right. When you fall to the underworld outside part of the castle go up to the water castle. Go inside. Once inside place the starfish for the offering. Go in. Go towards the left until you see a statue. Go into the dark shade and you dive into the water.
