I believe the problem is the source of the lyrics. Some lyric websites use odd fonts that the iPod does not support. Here's the solution that I've found that works 100% for me. Go to the lyrics on iTunes (the one that won't display on your iPod), highlight the lyrics and copy them. Open a new Words (or similar) page and paste the lyrics onto the page. (A good time to do a spell check!) Highlight the lyrics and change the lyric font to "courier." Copy the "courier" font lyrics, go back to iTunes, delete the old lyrics, and replace with the "courier" font lyrics. Re-sync your iPod and the lyrics should now display.
